Why We Them
Romanov sheep are renowned for their incredible fertility and early maturity, with lambs breeding as early as 3–4 months and ewes lambing year-round. Quads, quintuplets, and larger litters are common, making them highly productive for meat or flock expansion. Resilient and low-maintenance, they adapt well to cold climates and varied forage. Their wool, though more utilitarian, is durable and often crafted into rugs, mats, and textiles. Romanov ewes are attentive mothers with abundant milk, easily raising multiples. Valued for their adaptability and vigor, they’re also excellent for crossbreeding to enhance flock performance.
